Borikua Taino Foundation Meets with Brittney Gene To Start Designing Our Enrollment App

In our ongoing efforts to build a beneficial and secure platform for the Borikua Taino community, we recently held our second meeting with Brittney Gene, a valued expert in application programming who provided us with essential guidance on data collection and security. Our discussion focused on several key areas crucial to the success and integrity of our Enrollment App initiative.

One of the primary topics was identifying the different types of users who will engage with our platform and determining the specific data required for processing. This foundational step is essential to ensure that our services are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our community members. By understanding these needs, we can build out service access that is both efficient and user-friendly.

We also delved into the details of our enrollment procedures. This included determining who has access to the platform, the types of data we need to collect, and the overall enrollment process. Clear and transparent procedures are critical to fostering trust and ensuring that all users feel confident in how their information is handled. Many questions also arose - How do we vet people who want to enroll in our growing community? What can we learn from other attempts to unify Borikua Taino people? How can we streamline the enrollment process?

Miguel, our dedicated Cyber/Data Security lead, emphasized the importance of maintaining the security of our data, procedures, and information. He highlighted the necessity for all team members to uphold strict security standards to protect our community’s data. His leadership in this area is pivotal to safeguarding our users' personal information.

To further strengthen our platform, we are creating comprehensive policies and Governance Laws that will guide our operations. These documents outline the ethical standards and frameworks we adhere to as a community, ensuring that our practices are transparent and accountable.

Our meeting with Britteny Gene was incredibly insightful and has set a clear path forward for our efforts in data security and governance. We are dedicated to creating a secure, transparent, and user-centric platform that truly serves the Borikua Taino community. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to develop and refine our processes.
