Updated: Oct 30

Funding Our Mission of Cultural Continuity and Community Support

We are honored to announce that the Borikua Taino Foundation has been awarded a $35,000 grant from Native Voices Rising through the Common Counsel Foundation and in association with Native Americans in Philanthropy. This funding is a powerful affirmation of our ongoing efforts to support Borikua Taíno communities and revitalize our culture and heritage.

With this grant, our foundation will strengthen our cultural and educational initiatives, deepen community connections, and further our mission of preserving and celebrating Indigenous Taíno heritage across Boriken (Puerto Rico). Native Voices Rising is dedicated to uplifting Indigenous communities and their unique voices, and we are deeply grateful for this support as we look forward to expanding our programs.

This grant will fuel our continued growth and allow us to create an even greater impact in the coming year. We are thankful to everyone who believes in our mission and continues to support us on this journey. Stay tuned for updates as we put this support to work for our community!
